Lyncrest Airport is a premier privately owned airport located just outside Winnipeg, proudly operated by the Springfield Flying Club. Set on a sprawling 180-acre site, our airport caters to a variety of aircraft, from vintage restorations to home-built planes and rotorcraft. Established in the early 1950s, Lyncrest has grown into a thriving hub for recreational aviation with substantial hangar development since its purchase by the Springfield Flying Club in 1996.
Our commitment to promoting recreational aviation is at the heart of what we do. With over 70 members, we offer a welcoming environment for aviation enthusiasts. The airport is conveniently located near the city, providing easy access for both local and visiting pilots. Our members benefit from tie-down space, social events, and the opportunity to connect with fellow aviation lovers and share their passion for flight.
